The VectorKing: 2022 Revision
The VectorKing illustration was originally created in August 2017, with slightly revised (colour edits) in 2020, so I decided it was time for a bit more of a rework.
In this version I've removed the colours completely, made a few modifications to the line weights and introduced a few new elements.
In addition to the original plugins used—PathScribe, Dynamic Sketch and Subscribe—the revision involved using AG Offset, Reform and Reprofile. Look at the stroke details above (or below!) the crowns in the centre and you'll see lots more detail there where the original was largely solid colours—all made with the Reprofile Tool—which is such an amazing addition to their fantastic set of plugins.
The knotwork border was created using Illustrator-native tools.
As stated in the original version project, the "A" used in place of a "K" is for Astute—the king of Illustrator plugins and the whole team there are Aces!
