Tony Harmer, a.k.a. The Design Ninja
Hey! My name is Tony, and many people know me as The Design Ninja—I picked up that name when I worked for Adobe and specialised in application interoperation and creative workflows. I'm probably best described as a Creative Swiss-Army-Knife because I'm involved in so many things and aspects of production in my work!
Even though I'm still a professional creative, my main activities these days are around creating video learning (and edutainment) content for LinkedIn Learning, along with also being a host/guest on Adobe Live UK and an occasional guest on Adobe Live in the USA.
There are around 1.9 million people who have watched my courses so far, and although a lot of my work relates to Adobe Illustrator my graphic design and presentation courses are among the top courses of creative content on LinkedIn Learning. As well as creating all the assets for my learning content, I also produce almost all of the animations, and sometimes a portion of the editing (although I have an amazing team of editors behind me for LinkedIn Learning who do an amazing job).
My own livestreams go out at 4pm (UK time): "Make It in Illustrator" on Tuesdays and "InDesign Kitchen" on Wednesdays—both streams run for around 90 minutes, usually.
